Ahrdorf used to be a big junction, where the single track branch line to Blankenheim parted from 2 track main line to Lissendorf. It used to have two main platforms as well as an industrial siding to the Basalt mine (volcanic rock) "Hoffeld".

The station building is well preserved and inhabitated. The trackbed to Ahütte has been reused for a new street.
