The halt in Marienthal was closed in 1950. But until today the former platform can be seen.

The trackbed of the lifted second track is nowadays a well used cyclepath from Walporzheim to Dernau.

Marienthal is not only famous for the grapes growing around the ruins of an old abbey, but also for the in 1999 closed government bunker which originated of the tunnels built for the "Unvollendete".
